Binondo restaurant offers all natural, affordable, authentic hand-pulled noodles in Manila
Craving for authentic Chinese cuisine and the best hand pulled noodles in town?
Well, you’re in luck if you’re in the Manila area, especially if you’re somewhere in Binondo, because this yummy and affordable treat is well within your reach.
Lan Zhou La Mien has been around for a while and has been steadily growing its clientele in the years that followed because of its authentic Chinese flavor and its affordable price.
“The art of noodle making is a Chinese tradition from Lan Zhou province in China, all the master cooks and noodle makers are Chinese but we have an all Filipino staff. Business is good here, we have a small restaurant and we serve only beef and chicken noodles; and dumplings which are all preservative-free. But people wait outside all the time to wait until a table is free so they can eat our noodles,” Michelle Tan, the proprietor said in a post by The Budjetsetter blog.
Since the restaurant opened a branch in Binondo, it has expanded to a branch in Benavidez in front of the Metropolitan Hospital, Masangkay, San Fernando and Tomas Mapua Streets, 168 Mall, and another branch named San Guo La Mien at the ground floor of Lucky Chinatown.
The good thing about the expansion though, is not just that there are more branches to choose from. It’s the fact that the flavors remain consistent as well as the price. Whether the branch is standalone shop or a branch inside a busy mall. Customers can be assured of a delicious, hearty and nutritious meal and a smile on their faces as they leave the establishment.
Aside from the good food, diners are also treated to watching how these hand pulled noodles are made, making their dining experience even more of a novelty. (ANGEL ONG)
