With food like this, Chef Rob Tartare‎ admits it’s hard being a vegan

Culinary master and restaurateur Chef Rob Pengson shared on Instagram a photo of tartare and hot crispy fries—two food mishmashes that had him fascinated for a long time now.

Pengson, co-founder and CEO of Global Academy and head honcho of Shine Bakery & Café which is a sweet collaboration with his wife Chef Sunshine Pengson, must be scratching his head while appreciating the tartare. He said photos like this makes him wonder whether going weekday vegetarian was a right decision.

“And YOU…There is just something about you…Freakin All Raw and [email protected]#t served with hot crispy fries…Haay photos like this make me wonder why I am a #weekdayvegan,” Chef Rob said in his Instragram post.
