Runners Kitchen combines health and adventure in unique menu

In search of a unique dish to try out?

Adventurous eaters need not look far as Runners Kitchen, home of yummy organic food at Tomas Morato offers its one of a kind spin on the merienda favorite, the arroz caldo.

Instead of featuring the traditional yellow color from ginger and chicken, Runners’ arooz caldo is dark brown bordering on black because it uses black rice, which is a healthy option to white rice.

It also has on the menu the Mexican dish nachos with a Pinoy twist.

Instead of using ground pork and salsa, it uses adobo flakes on top of heaping cheese and homemade salsa with its Adobo Whole Wheat Nachos.

Meanwhile, for those who need that extra burst of energy, the restaurant recommends going green with “Malakas”, a refreshing, nutritious drink with Honeydew, Malunggay and Cucumber.
