Sisig, kilawin and dinakdakan fused together in Kampukan

Whether you’re in the mood for a simply rockin’ serving of Pampanga style Sisig or something more inventive, you know you’re in the right place when you pay a visit to Isla Una in Ortigas.

The restaurant, which specializes in contemporary Pinoy cooking, is unafraid to shake up their menu with tasty blends of popular classics from various parts of the country.

As a matter of fact, its “KAMPUKAN” has pork belly, onions and spices, is like a fusion of sisig, kilawin and dinakdakan all rolled into one.

While bulalo is known to be a soup dish perfect for rainy afternoon, Isla spins dish into something more funky by making it a sizzling dish. Or what about its prawn aligue? High on cholesterol but looks super yummy.

With the explosion of flavors that these dishes promise, prepare to come on an empty stomach and keep the extra rice coming. More than likely, its gonna be a long and filling experience. (By: Angel Ong)
