All vegan, all good
When there’s a will, there’s a way.
Lucy in the Sky Café in San Juan proves this with a yummy all vegan line up of dishes prepared with vege-meat to replace the regular pork, beef and chicken ingredients to come up with dishes that are just as good, if not better than their original meat based counterparts.
The café prides itself for its bestsellers – My Momma’s Burger, Korean barbeque, Sisig and Pansit
Palabok which their patrons enjoy in a relaxing, hip environment with art pieces lining the walls and a myriad of rainbow colors, giving the establishment a funky modern feel.
Lucy in the Sky Café, the name which may have been taken after the Beatles song, can be found in Greenhills and is open from Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Sunday from 11:00am – 9:00pm. (By: Angel Ong)
Thank you! #regram @soulful.vegan Oh my vegoodness. Lucy in the Sky Cafe (San Juan) has kicked all vegan restaurants i’ve ever tried in Manila to the curb. Pictured clockwise are My Momma’s Burger, Korean barbeque, and two fave Filipino dishes: Sisig, and Pancit Palabok. They used vege-meat (veg protein) and the texture is spot on! Finished by three vegans in 15 mins. Then we ordered ‘chicken’ drumsticks, barbeque, and ‘beef’ with broccoli in garlic butter for take out. Plus the name!! Beatles lover here. And they have the Bhagavad Gita on the bookshelf. Goodbye, i have gone to vegan heaven. (i’ll come back only for Lucy) #vegan #govegan #earthling #plantbaseddiet #consciousliving #organic #food #goveg #vegansofmanila
