PH waters free of red tide toxins: BFAR
The coastal waters of the Philippines is free of red tide toxins, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources said.
The BFAR bulletin, dated April 8 but posted April 11, showed a clean map of the country, free of markings where high red tide toxin levels used to be.
BFAR said Cambatutay Bay in Western Samar is free of red tide toxins.
“All coastal waters monitored are now free of red tide toxins,” it said.
The warnings on high red tide toxin levels were previously up in parts of Visayas and Mindanao.
