Pusit sisig from Minced Manila

Minced Manila is offering up a new variety of favorite pulutan and ulam — Sisig.

Restaurants have added beef sisig, pork sisig, chicken sisig and even tuna sisig to their menus, but this may be the first time that diners will come across posit sisig, or octopus sisig.

Minced Manila recently posted on its Instagram site the new viand, as well as an image of Humba “Bagnet” style, one of their bestsellers.

Their signature humba is a combination of fork tender pork belly braised in star anise, black beans and dark soy sauce, air dried then fried until crispy. Topped with roasted peanuts, shallots, spring onions and fried garlic.

For appetizer or dessert, diners shouldn’t miss an opportunity to try ensaladang pakwan at kesong puti in dayap-honey vinaigrette, something light and unique to satisfy the palette.
