Abrupt temperature drop shocks Dagupan bangus

The sudden drop in temperature that came with the onset of the rainy season has killed some milkfish in fishponds and cages in Dagupan City.

The Philippine News Agency, quoting Task Force Bantay Ilog head Maximo Solis, reported that the rains after months of hot weather caused a little discoloration of the water which affected the fish.

The sudden change in their environment caused the fish to lose their resistance and some of them died.
