ANI postpones annual stockholders meeting
Agrinurture Inc. (ANI), one of the country’s leading fresh mango exporters, is postponing its annual stockholders meeting to June 24, 2016 from May 16, 2016 to give itself enough time to prepare the matters it will be submitting to stockholders for approval, the company said in a disclosure today.
ANI had announced earlier that it is divesting its holdings in three companies to allow it to focus on its core business.
Last week, it said it has sold its shares in Joyful Fairy (Fruits) Ltd. to another shareholder for $10,000. ANI had 10,000 shares in the firm, representing a 51-percent stake. The shares were held by its subsidiary, Agrinurture HK Holdings Ltd.
ANI is divesting from Sunshine Supplies International Co. Ltd., Qualis Logistics and Transport Services Inc., and Hansung Agro Products Corp. (Eileen A. Mencias)
