Big B, to open two new branches in July

The burger joint that started as a “baby project among friends” in Maginhawa, is set to open two new branches this year in Quezon City.

In their official Facebook page, Big B Burgers announced their upcoming openings in July – one will be at Pazar Food Park in Regalado, Fairview, and the other at UP Town Center along Katipunan Avenue.

Behind the success of Big B Burgers are Erik Galvez and Joelle Yuvienco, who started the business in 2013.

In a report by Business World, the two started selling burgers in college which is 50% bacon and 50% beef. Big B offers burgers ranging from 99 to 359, depending on the size.
Their burgers are also best enjoyed with their special white sauce, served unlimited, in gun-style container.

Customers, especially first-time visitors, would often revel in the comical wordplay on their menu. For instance, as a side meal, diners have a choice between a regular-sized mozzarella, fries and gravy combo, called Poutine ng Ina Mo, or the same meal in 200g serving, Poutine ng Ina More Apart from their burgers, Big B is also renowned for its unique interiors, with humorous signboards containing jokes and wordplays, displayed on the walls.

Big B currently has 4 branches –Maginhawa, Los Banos, UST and Sta. Mesa, which noticeably cater to the student market.
