Jollibee partners with local chili farmers

Soon, your Chowking spicy favorites will be made even hotter by homegrown chili peppers planted by local farmers.

In its recent Facebook post, Jollibee Group Foundation shared the good news that it has partnered with Mayon Farmers Association (MFA) to support the local farmers who will supply Jollibee Foods Corp. with chili peppers that they harvest.

“Here is just one batch of chili peppers that the Mayon Farmers Association (MFA) will deliver to Jollibee Foods Corporation, as part of the Farmer Entrepreneurship Program. Pretty soon, these chilis will be part of the Chowking dishes you’ll be ordering,” it posted.

Good to know that the fastfood giant is doing its part by supporting local farmers. (By: Angel Ong)
