Direk Tonette’s Japanese food adventures

After the successful opening of her latest movie The Achy Breaky Hearts and before helming her upcoming teleserye with Dreamscape, Direk Tonette Jadaone took on Japan and documented her take on the foods she sampled during the trip.

And because she’s a natural storyteller, her natural wit shines through as she shares what she thinks of the various desserts, delicacies and drinks she filled up on that makes her stories come alive for her followers.

She says Japanese shaved ice Strawberry Kakigori is surprisingly sour and more faithful to the strawberry’s natural taste.

Maki at Shibuya made her ask for the Lord’s forgiveness.
