Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton serves it up in Cebu

British chef Jason Atherton whose restaurants in Shanghai and Singapore has won Michelin stars may soon put Cebu in the tire maker’s map.

Jason Atherton launched The Pig & Palm, a tapas-style restaurant, in Cebu last night.

The Pig & Palm, located in the bustling Cebu Business Park, specifically at the MSY Tower along Pescadores Rd., formally opens its doors to diners today.

Jason cooked at celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants but came into his own with Table No. 1, a restaurant he opened in Shanghai in 2010. A year later, he opened the Pollen Street Social, a one-Michelin star restaurant in London.
