Pilmico partners with Max’s for bread baking competition
Do you bake bread and proud of it?
If you’re ready to share your recipe, you just might want to join the Tinapay Natin Bread Baking Competition of the Aboitizes’ Pilmico and Max’s Corner Bakery.
You must have at least two bread recipes: one bread must be a special creation that tells a story about your town and the other must give a new twist to a local bread. Contestants can have two takes on the same type of bread.
To enter, one must form teams of two who are 18 to 35 years old and must be enrolled full-time in an academic institution as of August 12, 2016.
Contestants must pick from the ingredients listed in the contest pantry list and limit their ingredients to 10.
The entries will be pre-judged based on their bread story, photos, regional association and relevance, ingredients, and baking procedure.
Some 12 teams with the most compelling story and recipes will be chosen to compete in the elimination rounds in Bulacan, Batangas, and Iloilo.
The winners in the elimination round will compete in the grand finals on October 13 at Treston International College in BGC to coincide with the World Bread Day celebration.
