Poland eyes meat exports to PH
The Polish Meat Union is interested in exporting their beef and other products to the Philippines.
Philippine Ambassador to Poland Patricia Ann Paez met the officers of the Union during the promotional event “Polish Meat – The Flavorful Ambrosia” last June 16, which was held together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
During the event, guests were briefed on the “cutting-edge infrastructure and machinery in the Polish meat processing plants” and were treated to a culinary workshop featuring Polish meat products.
Paez said officials of the Polish Meat Union inquired about the beef market in the Philippines and expressed interest in exporting beef to the country.
Paez provided them with the Polish translation of the briefing paper on how to export meat and meat products to the Philippines.
The ambassador said based on her personal experience, Polish beef is as juicy, tender, and at par with the beef which the Philippines imports from Australia, the US, Japan, and South Korea.
