Surfing chef gives a go at Digong’s fave dish
Chef JP Anglo is having a go at ginisang munggo, one of President Duterte’s favorite dishes.
Chef JP uses three types of monggo seeds (green, black, and red), giving it an interesting color. He also put in fried danggit, chicharon and gata.
He also topped it with crispy monggo, for added texture, and drizzled it with annato oil for color.
He said it was inspired by a visit to the Siargao market.
