CPG firm Ventura Foods expands to the Philippines
Ventura Foods, a renowned and leading manufacturer of custom and branded margarine, oil, shortening, mayonnaise, dressing and sauce in the United States will soon operate in the country.
Manila Bulletin said in a report that the company currently provides supplies to many Quick Service and Fast Casual restaurants in the United States and other countries globally.
Ventura has since expanded its operations to the Philippines to cater to the growing demands and needs of the industry here and the rest of Asia-Pacific.
The growing food service and restaurant industry demands high quality products to provide a public with progressively discriminating tastes.
The company recently held a successful expo at the recently established WOFEX (World Food Expo) at the World Trade Center Manila.
What makes Ventura Foods unique from other companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods category is that they specialize in customization. “Two-thirds of our business is food service.
We are first and foremost a food service organization. We do have a retail business and an industrial business as well, but food service is our primary focus,” Yann Kervoern, said, President of Ventura International. “We don’t make one product that we sell to everybody. We try to understand everybody’s different needs and tailor to their requirements.”
Manila Bulletin also added that the Asia-Pacific was a natural choice in determining expansion steps of the company. “One reason why we’re here is that our key clients have approached Ventura USA because we are the primary supplier of sauces and dressings for these major companies,” Glenn Lobo said, the director of international operations for the Asia-Pacific region.
