KC craves Peking duck

KC Concepcion is haunted…

By the memory of an unforgettable Peking Duck dinner she had in a new discovery – the Kowloon Spring Deer Restaurant in Hong Kong.

While her food craving is a plane ride away, KC finds comfort in her local favorites.

The World Food Programme ambassadress and certified foodie recently recommended some of her regular orders at the Mesa Filipino Modern Cuisine.

“River shrimp on hot rocks, tinapa spring roll • elephant clam (diwal) baked in garlic butter • seabass (apahap) steamed in dayap (Filipino lime) & chilli • pomelo salad with coconut milk • wing beans (sigarillas) tossed in coconut milk & shrimp • taro leaves (laing) & coconut cream fried rice,” she enumerated on a caption of her snap with the dining crew.
