Land bank launched new agri video series
Land Bank of the Philippines has launched the second season of the AgriCOOLTure video series under its Gawad e-Dukasyon program in an effort to reach more audience including students from public schools, out of school youths and mature learners.
First launched in 2014, the video series already reached more than 4 million 8th grade students and 10,000 out of school youths and mature learners enrolled in the Department of Agriculture’s Alternative Learning System.
This video series is a partnership with Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI). It is designed to educate students on agriculture and fisheries at a young age to renew enthusiasm for the agriculture sector.
It also aims to change the perception of agriculture as a traditional form of livelihood to a profitable business venture.
The new video series targets students from Grade 9 to 11 taking up agri-fishery arts track. It is part of Land Bank’s campaign towards agri-aqua-preneurship.
