Lucky Me and Nescafe are Pinoys’ top brands
Lucky Me’s noodles and Nescafe’s instant coffee were the most bought brands by Filipinos last year, according to the Brand Footprint research of Kantar Worldpanel.
The results of the study, which were published in Malaya Business Insight, said Lucky Me bested 340 brands.
The report said Lucky Me reached 98 percent of Filipino homes and was purchased 40 times in a year, on average.
Runner-up Nescafe was steady with a 92 percent penetration rate.
The rest of the top 10 most bought brands in 2015 are Surf, Great Taste, Palmolive, Ajinomoto, Milo, Bear Brand, Silver Swan and Maggi.
The Kantar Worldpanel Philippines study also noted that Kopiko and Ariel are rising fast due to their TV commercials.
