PH Harvest expo, happening in BGC this weekend
Heads up, health buffs! Looking for a place to discover homegrown healthy products? Look no further because Philippine Harvest is happening again this weekend!
The Philippine Harvest will be having a re-run at Central Square, Bonifacio Global City will be held this weekend, August 19 to 21, Philippine Star reported.
In partnership with SSI Inc., the Department of Agriculture will applaud and endorse the vibrant agriculture of the Philippines through various exhibitors who will showcase and sell their distinctive agricultural food products in the expo.
Philippine Harvest will feature organic products, heirloom and other exceptional varieties of grains and rice. The range of products has been diversified to include Philippine spirits, a wide variability of local liqueurs and wines, made from honey, tropical fruits, and rice.
As what DA chief Manny Piñol assured during the farmers’ visit, “The Philippines has great potentials for the production of wines, spirits, and liqueurs. The administration of President Duterte fully supports the endeavor. With this, I will be your number one salesman in offering local produce.”
The fair will take place at the lower and upper ground floors of Central Square in Bonifacio High Street Central and will be open to the public during mall hours, the report said.
