Pinoy restaurant is the No. 2 best new restaurant in the US

Bon Appetit has tagged Bad Saint, a Filipino restaurant in Washington DC, as America’s No. 2 best restaurant.
According to the Washington Post, the lines at the Bad Saint are long enough. With the recognition, the lines are not expected to be any shorter soon.

Bon Appetit named DC as its restaurant city of the year. Apparently, DC has three nominees on Bon Appetit’s best new restaurants list.

Bon Appetit will be featuring four recipes from Bad Saint in its issue in case you have no luck in getting a table: sinigang, coconut vegetable slaw, yellow chicken adobo, and okoy.

The Bad Saint doesn’t take reservations, just walk-ins, preferably in groups of four or smaller.
