Miriam hearts Celing’s Halo Halo
You don’t have to go to a high end restaurant to sample the best food. Some small establishments actually have delicious and affordable menus that have kept them going for decades.
Former Miss Universe runner up Miriam Quaimbao found such a place in Nasugbu, Batangas when she and her family stopped over at Celing’s Halo Halo and Barbeque Store which has been operating since the 1950s.
With a menu consisting of halo halo for P50 , super special halo halo for P30 more, barbeque at P17 per stick, and mais con yelo, Nanay Celing’s selection must really be great for her patrons to keep her in business for so long.
Miriam even had a chance to snap a selfie with the proprietress, who made sure she looked the nice before she shared a smile with the former beauty queen.
Yummy simple dinner at Celing's HaloHalo and BBQ store!! Established in the 1950's in Nasugbu, Batangas. You have to try their Super Special HaloHalo in a big disposable plastic cup! Yum!! Our family pretty much wiped out about 100 sticks of their pork BBQ tonight! Glad to have met 85-yr old Lola Celing as well! She very kindly allowed me this selfie and even combed her hair before accommodating me! Haha! #RobertoFamilyAdventures
