Street Grub owner uses herbs and veggies from his own backyard

Street food lovers in Davao would definitely rejoice with the opening of a new food place, that utilizes only the freshest ingredients straight from the owner’s yard.

The Street Grub, one of the latest restaurants in Davao City, provides a new gassto experience to its customers following its opening last July 20, Sun Star reported.

Street Grub is situated along Unit D, Paseo Uno Bldg, Ruby St., Marfori Heights and offers a wide range of delicious selection of street food.

“Ako kasi when I travel, basically food yung una mong titignan, so basically the concept of Street Grub is we offer those foods from different parts of the world,” Karlo Mercado told Sun Star, one of the owners of Street Grub. He is a confessed street food lover, that’s why the concept is dear to him.

Given his passion for food and cooking, he said it is a dream come true to finally have his own restaurant.

He also told Sun Star that in the Street Grub, they only use fresh vegetables and herbs which he grows at his own backyard.

Some of the iconic foods he offers include Shawarma Wrap, Shawarma Bowl, Chefs urger, Italian Meatballs, French Dip, Milkshakers, and a lot more.

Davaoenos can come and visit the Street Grub from 11:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. during Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sun Star said.
