Agrilink Trade Show, to be held until Saturday in Pasay City
Department Agriculture undersecretary for agribusiness and high-value crops Evelyn Laviña, recently led the government officials in the ceremonial opening of Agrilink Trade Show, a three day event that will end on Saturday.
Along with personalities involved in agriculture including Sen. Cynthia Villar, government agency directors, foreign ambassadors and others, the opening ceremony was held at World Trade Center in Pasay City yesterday, October 5, Manila Bulletin reported.
Laviña tackled issues of sustainability, global competitiveness, food security, and agricultural resiliency, president of the Foundation for Resources Linkage and Development (FRLD) Antonio V. Roces said. FRLD is the company behind the annual agricultural event which is regarded the mostly attended event of its kind in the country.
More than 300 exhibitors including SMEs as well as big corporations from the country and abroad participates in the event, showcasing their products, services and improved technologies in their exhibit booths, in addition to the seminars that they are holding, Manila Bulletin said.
