3-year citrus program starts in Cagayan Valley
The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD has started its three-year program to develop the citrus industry in Cagayan Valley.
The program is expected to help citrus growers in Nueva Vizcaya and Cagayan, traders and processors, researchers, owners of nurseries, agricultural technicians and policy makers.
Experts and stakeholders from the region have already met regarding the program.
The program also includes value chain, plant genetic resources, production of quality seedlings and integrated pest management.
