San Miguel Pure Foods declares P462M cash dividend

San Miguel Pure Foods Company Inc. has declared cash dividends totalling P462 million for both its common and preferred shareholders.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange, San Miguel Pure Foods said its board of directors approved the cash dividend declaration in its February 2, 2017 meeting payable to stockholders on record as of February 17, 2017.

Common shareholders will get a cash dividend of P1.50 per share payable on March 1, 2017 and preferred shareholders will get a cash dividend of P14.14225 per share payable on March 13, 2017. The payout to common shareholders will amount to P250 million while the payout to preferred shareholders will total P212 million.

The cash dividend payment will be sourced from the company’s retained earnings as of December 31, 2016.
