Yellow Cab Pizza arrives in Singapore
Philippine-run Yellow Cab Pizza is now in Singapore, having opened a new branch at 1 Raffles Link, CitiLink Mall last Feb. 21, the Philippine embassy in Singapore reported.
Tiara Chopra, director of Yellow Cab Pizza in Singapore, cited the huge support from the Filipino community since its soft opening last month.
Robert Trota, president=CEO of Max’s Group, said they will open branches in Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Vietnam this year.
Yellow Cab already has branches in China, Qatar, UAE, Malaysia and the US.
For his part, Ambassador to Singapore Antonio Morales expressed hopes more Philippine brands, especially those under the Max’s Group, will explore Singapore and the rest of the ASEAN market.
“In the Philippines, franchising is a major contributor to our country’s economic performance with a growth rate of 15 to 20 percent and an estimated turnover of $3 to 7 billion annually. Franchising, therefore, provides excellent opportunities for Philippine brands, such as Yellow Cab Pizza, to go global and showcase its quality, consistent product performance and availability,” said Morales, the guest of honor at the launch.
Max’s Group Inc. also runs Max’s Fried Chicken and Pancake House.
