150 OFWs attend agri-fisheries investment forum in Korea
More than 150 overseas Filipino workers attended the Agri-Fisheries Investment Forum in Busan, South Korea, which seeks to encourage prospective entrepreneurs to invest in the farming and fisheries sector.
The forum is a project of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, Philippine Agriculture Office (PAO) in Seoul, Philippine Overseas labor Office (POLO) and Land Bank of the Philippines.
It featured experts from the Philippine Carabao Center, Bureau of Plant Industry, and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources who discussed livestock raising, high value crops, aquaculture and coconut production, agri-related business and investment opportunities.
Landbank presented financing facilities to those interested in investing in the projects offered during the seminar.
