Golden Cowrie opens new branch, eyes 5 new branches in Metro Manila
Golden Cowrie The Filipino Kitchen just opened its newest branch at the Ayala Center Cebu on March 8, and announced plans to open five more Metro Manila outlets.
Earl Kokseng, executive committee member of Cebu Golden Restaurant, the company behind Hukad, Golden Cowrie, Salinas, and Golden Cowrie The Filipino Kitchen, said that the group is yet to identify the brands that they intend to expand.
“In the last few years, the company has been aggressive in expanding in the Visayas and Mindanao. We think we are already present in key cities. Now, we feel we are ready to conquer Manila,” Sun Star quoter Kokseng, emphasizing that they have already been well-received in some of their early launches around Metro Manila.
Cebu Golden Restaurant Inc. has about 31 branches in the country, and 10 of which branches are company-owned and located in Cebu.
The group eyes to end the year with 40 branches, its general manager Kenneth Kokseng said.
