SEC okays amendments to Century Pacific Foods by-laws
The Securities and Exchange Commission has approved an amendment to the by-laws of Century Pacific Foods Inc. related to the nomination period for its board of directors.
In a disclosure to the stock exchange, Century Pacific Foods said the SEC approved the amendment on February 28, 2017 and that the company received the approval on March 1, 2017.
The amendment was approved by its board of directors on October 2, 2014 and by its stockholders on November 7, 2014.
The amendment involved changing the nomination period to 40 business days before the regular or special meeting of stockholders and not later than 20 business days. Prior to the amendment, the nomination referred only to 40 and 20 days.
