My infatuation with Renee Erickson started in 2001, when I lined up for the now-legendary brunch of crab cakes and rosé at Seattle’s Boat Street Kitchen. In the 15 years since that long, boozy afternoon, the chef and her growing family of restaurants—six and counting—have made me president of the Everything Renee Erickson Does Is Awesome Fan Club.
