Head Chef Mike de Jesus and his team is currently rolling out his own Filipino-inspired menu at Nobu Manila which will be available at the restaurant until June 30. Some of his creations include adobo sushi, uni palabok and wagyu kare-kare.
“Adobo has vinegar and soy sauce, which are ingredients we use already,” he told ABS-CBN News.
Nobu Manila, owned by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, exhibits familiar flavors of Filipino food but is still delicate and remains true to Nobu’s artful simplicity, the report said.
