Chef Jayps Anglo showcases Bangsi meal
When in Siargao, Chef JP Anglo definitely knows how to make the best meals.
In an Instagram post, the Sarsa resto owner shared his creation while on a vacay in the tropical island of Siargao.
‘What we cooked for breakfast on the island. Bangsi (dreif flying fish) with watermelon basil tuba (coconut vinegar)”, the chef said on his post.
Bangsi, known for its wing-like fins, is a popular catch in the city and around Mindanao. In fact, the city of Maitum even celebrates the Bangsi Festival to honor its “One Town, One Product” the Bangsi or Flying Fish.
