More and more international chefs are putting up restos in Manila
Manila is indeed cementing its position as the next top gastro-hub in Asia as more and more foreign culinary experts are investing restaurants in the city.
Inquirer reported a growing number of the world’s top chefs are setting up shop here in the metro.
“Condé Nast Traveler points out how more chefs go to Manila, making the current scene more interesting than it is. For long, we Filipinos have enjoyed the various influences from neighboring countries and even cross-continent imports”, author Olivia Estrada said in the publication.
With the influx of top chefs investing in the city, there’s no surprise if Manila becomes the next big food destination in Asia.
Some restaurants include Atelier Vivanda by Akrame Benallal, Galley Vask, Fo’od by Davide Oldani, Nobu Matsuhisa, 210 Degrees, Lo de Alberto and Samba, the report said.
