Max’s ensures coordination with agencies amid bird flu scare
Max’s Group, which operates Max’s Restaurant chain in the Philippines has issued a statement regarding reports of an avian flu outbreak in Pampanga.
According to Max’s statement, their poultry supplies have been proven safe for consumption and safe from avian influenza.
“In addition, our suppliers’ poultry farms and processing plants are all located outside of Pampanga and are operating under strict compliance with the requirements of the Department of Agriculture,” the statement read.
Max’s Group also assured that they are monitoring closely with concerned agencies to ensure, food, customer and employee safety at all times. Max’s Group is the umbrella corporation that operates and manages Max’s Restaurant, Yellow Cab, Teriyaki Boy, Krispy Kreme, Jamba Juice, Dencio’s, Maple, among other establishments. (ANGEL ONG)
