Margarita Fores continues to Champion Filipino produce in Kain Na

The 2016 Asia’s Best Female Chef took to showing off our local produce and food during Kaina Na held at the House of Madison Hong Kong.

For her dinner service, she created a menu with only plant-based ingredients sans garlic and onions, showing off her hard work with “Popcorn chicken” made from Hedgehog instead of the popular poultry.

She made a fantastic showing of her capabilities with her multi-dimensional Kadyos Hummus dish that showed off a myriad of edible flowers and mushrooms.

After her successful service, she went on to take a quick pic with Undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture, Berna Puyat.

She capped off the night by sharing some adobo and Malagos cheese to Italian Chef Umberto Bombana.
