McDonald’s to release its own line of bottled coffee drinks
If you didn’t think that McDonald’s hasn’t invaded every arena of food production, you wrong. In a recent announcement, the fast food giant revealed its plans to release its own line of bottled coffee beverages in 2018.
The McCafe Frappe drinks will come in vanilla, caramel, and mocha flavors and will be sold at retail stores across the US.
This is Mcdonald’s move to increase awareness of McCafe in its attempts to compete with the coffee juggernaut Starbucks. The fast food chain began its campaign last year with the release of its fancy espresso machines and sustainably-sourced beans. McDonald’s also plans to expand its menu of espresso-based drinks later this year.
