Will we also get this 10 pound donut in Manila too?
The JW Mariott Desert Springs Resort in California has a new sweet treat for guests who want to indulge in a sugar coma during their vacations.
The resort now offers guests the opportunity to order huge 10 pound donut made up of layers of Tahitian vanilla cake, cream, and raspberry jelly on the inside. On the outside, its made up of combination of fondant, pink cream frosting, tropical fruit macaron crisps, sprinkles and neon jimmies.
The giant donut is part of the hotel’s “Donut Disturb” package which roughly costs $219. Upon availing of this special promotion that is available the whole year, guests get a “Donut Disturb” sign to hang on their doors and this will be a signal for the kitchen crew to do their magic. As if the sweet overload is not enough, the three feet wide two foot tall donut comes with milkshakes too.
Hopefully, this promotion will also be offered in the Philippine branches of the Marriott so Pinoy sweet tooths can have a memorable sweet encounter for their vacations as well.
Check out this video to heck out how they make these giant pink frosted donuts.
