DA chief assures he will be back to work next week
One day after announcing he has pneumonia, Agriculture Chief Emmanuel Piñol said he will be back to work next week and will even attend the plenary hearing in senate scheduled on October 10.
This is despite the fact that pneumonia may take more than one week to clear up.
WebMD explained that pneumonia is a lung infection that can make people “very sick” and that it often “clears up in 2 to 3 weeks”.
“Don’t worry. I will be okey. In fact, I’m already working in my hospital room signing urgent documents,” Piñol said in his latest post in the social media.
“I will be ready for the Senate Plenary Hearing of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries on Tuesday, Oct. 10,” he added.
It was just yesterday when Piñol announced that he will be out of the office for a few days because of his sickness.
According to him, what he thought was just a simple fever turned out to be an indication of a more complicated health issue which is pneumonia.
