Erwan shares recipe for pho you can take on the go
ErwanHeussaff is a big fan of Vietnamese food, and in particular, their traditional noodle dish called pho. He is also a big fan of preparing his own meals (being a chef) and taking them with him on the go because of his busy schedule.
In a recent Tastemade video, Erwan shared his secret to making pho, (not typically a dish you bring on the commute) a perfect baon treat that you could bring with you on a cup.
For ingredients, you’ll need the following:
• 2 pcs chicken breast Sriracha
• 2 limes Chicken stock (organic if possible)
• 2 carrots 2 scallions
• 1 red chili 1 pack vermicelli noodles
• 1 pack cilantro/coriander
• Fish sauce Honey
• 1 organic natural bouillon cube or powder 1 pack of cloves
In the video, Erwan instructs his viewers to shred the chicken, boil in a large pot of hot water for 12-15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
The next step would be pulling apart the boiled chicken once its cool enough to touch. Next up, divide the shredded chicken into each mason jar evenly, then add soy sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice.
Layer in vegetables, then drop in bouillon cubes. Put as much chili pepper that suits your taste. Add the vermicelli noodles and keep in fridge until ready to eat.
When you’re ready to eat it, just pour boiling water up to about two-thirds of the jar and stir contents, making sure to dissolve bouillon cube completely. And then finally, pour contents into large bowl when ready to eat and voila, Pho in a Cup.
