Lucky Me underscores importance of sharing meals with the family
Lucky Me has been advocating the importance of families having dinner together for several years now. Its latest campaign, a short story entitled “Uwi” highlights the essence of shared meals as a tool against bullying.
Based on statistics, 50 percent of children experience bullying and the video emphasizes the effect it has on the children’s psyche. The video shows a child sitting alone in front of the dining table recalling the incidence of bullying that she experienced in school and the anxiety that goes with it.
Upon the arrival of her mother, the child’s mood changes as she is enveloped in the loving environment provided by her parent.
The noodle brand emphasized that aside from ensuring a family’s healthy diet, having meals together gives the family time to bond and talk about issues so they can find solutions together before the problems get out of hand. Based on Lucky Me’s Facebook page, many of their followers were inspired by the message of the video and lauded the brand for using the social platform to raise awareness on the pressing issue.
