Museo de La Salle pays homage to Cavite’s bread culture
The Museo de La Salle of De La Salle Univeristy-Dasmarinas is hosting a photo exhibit entitled “ALSA MASA: Cavite Bakery Traditions”. The exhibit is held in time with Museums and Galleries Month and is part of the Museo’s “Glimpses of Cavite” exhibition program.
The exhibit, which is held in partnership with Canon, Jherdzfont Graphic Design Services, Republic of Taste by Ige Ramos, and the Cavite Studies Center, will run from October 26- December 16. It will also feature the work of local photographer Ohsie Austria.
The event is inspired by the book “Panaderia: Philippine Bread, Biscuits, and Bakery Traditions,” and seeks to shine the spotlight on the evolution and richness of province’s bread culture.
