APEC’s Da Nang Declaration aims to act on food security, sustainable agri sector
The leaders of the 21 APEC member economies, which includes President Rodrigo Duterte, already issued the Da Nang Declaration following the 25th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting and some of the priorities include enhancing food security and protecting the agriculture sector from climate change.
The Da Nang Declaration: Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future reaffirms APEC Leaders’ long-standing commitment to the region’s mission of supporting sustainable economic growth and prosperity among its citizens.
The Declaration particularly wants to act on certain things such as enhancing food security and sustainable agriculture in response to climate change.
