Here’s the price you have to pay to lose the calories from your Starbucks Planner mission
The season of the Starbucks Planner is upon us and this means that patrons of the uber popular café will be racing to complete their booklets with stickers to avail of the limited edition planner.
In order to do so, one must complete the stickers for five regular drinks and nine Christmas beverages and suffice to say, this could take a toll on one’s budget. Not to mention rack up the calories.
The folks over at Pinoy Fitness have helpfully computed the potential calories that could be accumulated from the set and came up with a figure if one was to order five tall brewed coffees which has five calories per cup and nine Christmas drinks if the drink of choice is the Tall Christmas Tree Peppermint Dark Mocha which has 240 calories per serving.
It looks bad, but there’s hope just yet. You can burn all these calories (a total of 2,205 calories) by doing the following:
3 hours worth of 5 minute running. (This will amount to a total of some 21 kilometers or a half marathon accumulated)
3 hours worth of 40 minute swimming (roughly an 11 kilometer swim)
3 hours worth of 20 minute cycling (100 kilometer distance)
5 hours worth of yoga (preferably not in one go)
So that’s the price you have to pay to burn those calories to get your planner. If you ask us, its still worth it and might even set you up to make exercise a part of your routine. (ANGEL ONG)
