NFA underscores good housekeeping in management
The National Food Authority (NFA) has urged its staff to implement good housekeeping measures in all areas of the agency’s operations.
“Good housekeeping is equal to good governance,” NFA Administrator Jason Aquino said in a Thursday statement.
“NFA plans, programs and strategies should always be guided by the tenets of accountability, transparency, quality and efficient service, reliability, and integrity,” he added.
He instructed NFA officials to practice good housekeeping in all aspects of NFA’s operations, financial management, human resource development, client and stakeholder relations, regulatory functions, and technical services.
Aquino reminded NFA officers of the agency’s mandate for buffer stocking for food security and stabilization.
“We should always strictly observe good warehouse keeping practices to ensure good quality stocks,” the NFA chief added.
