DAR forms team for Bangon Marawi program
The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Region 10 has recently created the Convergence Project Management Team (CPMT) for Task Force Bangon Marawi to address the immediate concern of reconstruction, rebuilding and improving the lives of the survivors and victims of the Marawi siege.
DAR-10 Regional Director Faisar Mambuay said the CPMT is composed of government line agencies, non-government organizations, the United Nation-World Food Project (UN-WFP) and United Nation-Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO).
Mambuay added that the CPMT will be spearheaded by DAR and the Department Agriculture (DA).
“The CPMT will assist President Rodrigo Duterte’s Task Force Bangon Marawi in rebuilding the lives of the Marawi people. We at the DAR will do our best to help our farmer-beneficiaries regain their lives through our support services,” Mambuay said.
Mambuay also emphasized that the CPMT have already identified five barangays under the Agrarian Reform Community (ARC) of Malimono-Dulay that will be provided with immediate help and assistance.
These barangays include Cabasaran, Dulay Proper, Dulay West, Guimba and Malimono.
“These are our pilot areas. Other villages in Marawi will be given help as we start the process of networking and linkage for support services and relief assistance with our partners,” Mambuay said.
