Condiments exhibits mixed price movement
Food condiments exhibited mixed price movements, based on the observation of Philipine Statistics Authority (PSA) through selected trading centers.
PSA said that price upticks of P10 and P20 per kilogram for red onion were registered in seven regional centers on the last week of December.
A kilogram of native garlic, on the other hand, was expensive by P10 in Cotabato City.
A price hike of P10 per kilogram of imported garlic was also noted in Cotabato City. On the other hand, it went down by P20 in Legaspi City and by P10 in Zamboanga City.
Meanwhile, the price per kilogram of ginger (hawaiian) was higher by P20 in NCR and by P5 in Cotabato City.
