Diet Coke eyes rebound in sales through makeover
Diet Coke’s makeover is expected to recover sales which has been on a decline.
The transformation puts the drink in a slimmer 12-ounce can, updating the logo and offering the 35-year-old drink in four new flavors, including mango, ginger lime, cherry and blood orange, as a way to cater to millenials who have been slowly shiting to low-calorie drinks such as flavored fizzy water.
Diet Coke sales have fallen as more people switch to other low-calorie drinks, such as flavored fizzy water.
The Diet Coke will still taste the same and will come in standard 12-ounce cans, as well as other sizes, such as bottles and mini cans.
The changes will be rolled out in U.S. stores by the end of the month and in Canada in February.
