Lobsters, meringue and chocolates complete Direk Tonet’s trip to London

While shooting for the JaDine movie “Never Not Love You,” Direk Tonet Jadaone also made sure that she well and truly experienced London and its local food.

She generously shares snaps of her experiences on her Instagram and takes her fans on a trip through the delicious flavors that the city had to offer.

Like these delicious lobster rolls that she admitted was her most delicious meal on the trip. She especially liked the garlic dip that came with it.

BEST MEAL SO FAR (kala mo naman naka-1 week na dito) – lobster roll with garlic butter at Burger & Lobster as recommended by @tightsarntpants and my animator @oninpilot!!! May kamahalan pero 'yung lahi ng lobster ang binabayaran yata dito – at yung garlic butter dip!!! Ang sarap!!! May magic 'yung lobster, naka-2 order kami. Pero honestly, mas nasarapan ako sa lobster roll sa Commune A7 sa Taipei (I forget the food stall, sorry!) at sa shrimp roll (alam ko iba sa lobster roll pero pareho namang under the sea, wag ka nang umapela) sa Great Gamble sa La Union! Pero masarap na rin ito, lalo't bakit parang di ako masyadong nasasarapan sa fudam ditey? Pero wait, we shall go to Borough Market, hindi ako nag-English breakfast para doon! Ganun ako ka-committed sa pagkain. Waw. @nakaluwagluwag

The director who seemed to love meringues, also stopped short when she saw the raspberry version.

She also had some cheese pasta called pici cacio e pepe which she lined up 15 minutes to get.

She said it was totally worth it.

Padella Pasta, Borough Market – JUSKO PO WE JUST HAD OUR BEST MEAL IN LANDAN OMG MGA KAPITBAHAY, I-FRANCHISE NA NATIN TO SA PINAS!!! Chozzz. Waited in line for 10-15mins (wag na magreklamo! Sanay tayo sa pila, sa NBI clearance pa lang o!) BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!! Pag mag-Borough Market kayo, unahin n'yo na 'to, kukuha na ko ng porsyento sa manager ditey. Anyway, this is pici cacio e pepe. Cheese! Keso lang besh!!! Pero bakit ang sarap!!! Fresh 'yung pasta mumsh, I think that's the secret. This is Dish #1 of 4 – apat inorder namin e tatlo lang kami (see @nakaluwagluwag for the three other dishes)! Gutom lang! Pero simot mumsh after! Natapon! Dinilaan ganern. Teka asan na manager dito, gawa ako branch sa San Joaquin. #nakaluwagluwag

And how sulit could you get than Shoreditch where for 45£, you get to fill up a box with as much chocolates as you can? Direk Tonet said that it reminded her of Wendy’s unlimited salad bar in the 90s. (ANGEL ONG)
